Privacy policy
Body Coach · Last updated 31 August 2026
Body Coach is a training log. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information about you. It applies to the Body Coach Android app published by LuckyhanStudio.
The short version
We do not run any servers and we do not have an account system. Everything you record — your exercises, weights, reps, sets, feedback and any discomfort you log — is stored only on your own device. We never receive it.
What the app stores on your device
- The exercises you added, and any exercises you created yourself.
- Your workout history: weights, repetitions, sets and the date of each session.
- Your one-tap effort feedback and any discomfort you chose to record.
- Your settings: weight unit, theme, rest timer and available equipment.
This data stays in the app's private storage. Deleting the app, or clearing its storage from Android Settings, removes all of it permanently. If you have Android backup enabled, your device may include this data in your own encrypted backup; that backup is between you and Google, and we have no access to it.
Information we do not collect
- No name, email address, phone number or account of any kind.
- No health, fitness or body measurements sent anywhere.
- No location data.
- No contacts, photos, files or microphone access. The app does not request these permissions.
- No analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
Advertising
The app shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob, which is how it stays free. To serve and measure those ads, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device and app information, and interactions with the ads. This processing is carried out by Google as an independent controller under its own policies, not by us.
You can limit ad personalisation at any time from your device: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can delete or opt out of the advertising ID.
Your advertising choices
Where required — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — the app asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before any personalised advertising is served. You can reopen that form at any time from Settings → Ad privacy choices inside the app and change your mind. Your choice is stored on your device and passed to the ad SDK.
Children
Body Coach is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your information, because we do not receive any. The only third party involved is Google, in its role as the advertising provider described above.
Your rights
Because your training data never leaves your device, you are already in full control of it: you can view it in the app, delete individual exercises with their history, or remove everything by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage. For questions about the advertising data Google processes, use the Google links above or contact us and we will help where we can.
Not medical advice
Body Coach records training and suggests exercises. It does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice. If something hurts, stop, and speak to a qualified health professional.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
